  • Falmouth Varsity Baseball watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 3-2 loss to Thornton Academy on Monday. Thornton Academy scored on a single by Smith, a groundout by Cross, and a single by Pydych in the first inning.
  • The pitching was strong on both sides. Thornton Academy pitchers struck out 11, while Falmouth Varsity Baseball sat down zero.
  • Thornton Academy got on the board in the first inning when Smith singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
  • Griffin was the winning pitcher for Thornton Academy. He lasted three and a third innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out two. Seymour threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
  • Dominic Tracy took the loss for Falmouth Varsity Baseball. He went seven innings, allowing three runs on four hits.
  • Chessie started the game for Thornton Academy. He allowed two hits and two runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out six

  • Falmouth Varsity Baseball got things moving in the first inning. Ike Kiely homered on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.
  • Falmouth Varsity Baseball notched seven runs in the second inning. Falmouth Varsity Baseball's big inning was driven by singles by Sam Manganello and Josh Lefevre, doubles by Garrett Tracy and Conner Coffin, and a walk by Brady Coyne.
  • A single by Genest in the first inning was a positive for Sanford.
  • Tracy pitched Falmouth Varsity Baseball to victory. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over five innings, striking out six and walking one.

Falmouth Varsity Baseball took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Gorham. The game was tied at one with Falmouth Varsity Baseball batting in the bottom of the twelfth when Ike Kiely singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Falmouth Varsity Baseball pitchers struck out 11, while Gorham pitchers sat down 12.Gorham fired up the offense in the second inning, when Sean Boykin doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Falmouth Varsity Baseball evened things up at one in the bottom of the fifth inning. Brady Coyne grounded out, scoring one run.

Garrett Tracy pitched Falmouth Varsity Baseball to victory. He went eight and a third innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out nine.

Falmouth Varsity Baseball watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 9-4 loss to Windham on Tuesday. Windham scored on a double by Ryan Sargent and a single by William Brooks in the second inning.

Windham got things started in the second inning. Sargent doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Windham scored three runs in the sixth inning. Windham offense in the inning was led by Chris Naylor and Brady Afthim, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Bryce Afthim got the win for Windham. He went seven innings, allowing four runs on eight hits and striking out eight.

Jack Kidder took the loss for Falmouth Varsity Baseball. South Portland got on the board in the second inning. An error scored one run for South Portland.

Biddeford scored three runs in the seventh inning. Owen Sullivan and Ashton Crowell all drove in runs in the frame.Bruce Springer led the Biddeford to victory on the mound.
